LCC BA Photography: Silent Auction - Dynamic design

I produced poster and website design (and web build) for LCC’s BA Photography course to advertise their silent auction.

The need to advertise the style of photography/prints up for auction meant that different sized/scaled/orientations of poster were required meaning I produced a dynamic piece of design to fit any format or platform.

I built the site which has a lot of jQuery and CSS3 features including custom Google Maps styling and action scripts.

The site was also optimised for web and tablet as there are lots of students viewing the page on the go after seeing the poster around the university.

Amplified holding page

Whilst building the new website for Amplified I created this neat holding page that featured all of the links to their social media and general contact along with a soundcloud player of their latest mix to give people a sample of their music.

The site also scales down to mobile and tablet formats.

Skills: HTML, CSS.

David Ford Builders website

My Dad’s company has never had an online presence so I decided to give it one. After re-branding his stationary last summer it was time the site was made. This uses much more involved, interesting and modern techniques than my previous websites. I have developed the entire front end and parts of the back-end code.

The top image is the design and the lower images are the first few stages of its build.

It can be seen here, but it is currently incomplete. It’ll just give you an idea as to how the function of the site works.

Pet Travel Crates

Created whilst working at Mindworks Marketing. I was given the job as a blank canvas. I branded the company, coded the front-end of the site and also turned it mobile compatible.

Completed with website/Facebook banner.

The Volume

A pastiche video promoting a book that actually plays music, the most cutting-edge print technology.

Filmed in an overly idealistic way to emphasise the dramatic change this pointless device will bring to your life.

Part of one of my final year projects on Graphic and Media Design: Design for Print at London College of Communication.

Google Packaging - YCN Competition Brief

Another final year project to create imaginary packaging for some Google products. I decided to brand the Chrome package of apps such as Gmail, Docs, Earth, Maps, YouTube etc.

I tried to approach it practically and take into consideration every aspect of Google’s ethos. It is completely recyclable and used no adhesives. The colours are reversed to emphasise the categories.

In each pack comes a helpful and playful product to assist your everyday - just like Google do for you online. These products include: a coaster, a wrist rest and a handkerchief.

thosewho™ SUPERWHO Pack

A pack designed for +who™ creatives to ‘brand’ themselves with the thosewho™ image. Allows clients to see their reputability and also their involvement with the agency.

Includes: iPhone 4 case, Glasses bag, Multi-functional straps, keyring, personalised business cards, wooden coaster, tablet case, pad and pencil set, spot-varnish stickers

Realise Projects

Final year self-initiated project. Realise Projects is a commercial collaborative company that brings together large corporations to produce a more affordable product or service with an overall goal of leveling the imbalance of the economic world. Financially modest, but the impact is huge.

We Are 5 - Amplified Sessions

Amplified’s 5th Birthday with guest, and house music legend, DJ Sneak. Promotional artwork and theme set for all future events at Wedgewood Rooms.

Amplified Sessions @ MOS Loft

Freelance client Amplified Sessions were asked to host a halloween event in Ministry of Sound’s Loft room.

In the spirit of the holiday I decided to create a cut-out mask in the poster that combined the MOS logo and a skull.

I also filmed and photographed the event to push Amplified’s publicity online, as well as editing the final video.

Vector artworking, digital video/club photography, dynamic video editing

Amplified_Sessions poster set

First completed poster set to create the heart logo across all 4 poster. These were the first four events after my rebrand on the company.
